Narcolepsy

Wow, I've been so busy working on my last film at IADT that I almost forgot I'd even started a blog! I still don't have time to go into depth about my process working on the film (there are only 8 days to the deadline!) After next Friday I'll do a post about the whole process with lots of photos. And I'll put up my show-reel. But In the meantime I can add these two stills...

The Little Peachling

Here are some stills from my third year film. It was originally in colour but some time after I realised I liked the sepia look better. These are also minus backgrounds. The story is a Japanese fable, "Momotaro" that I retold from the point of view of an old Slovak couple (my nana even narrated it in Slovak). I never really finished it the way I wanted to but come Summertime I definitely want to go back to it...

There's lots I would love to add to it but time's not quite on our side as Sarah will be off to perform in NY super soon. As I'm sure you can tell, her book will be titled "Follies".

And so begins my journey into the world of blogging. Twitter and a blog all in one week?! Very exciting... if a little terrifying. I suppose I'll do my best to post my animation and drawings and things of general interest as often as possible. Why am I so tempted to start with "Dear Diary..."?
